Wow! What wonderful plumage! Good looking hens Lizzie. It is interesting they like to hide their eggs. They have a little game going on with you. What fun!
Hi Elizabeth, Yes, you were RIGHT! We found a snatch of bantam eggs behind the bromeliads - a good spot near the laundry that we must have passed about a million times!! We've got Cuddlepie back to the nest boxes and this seems to have prompted the other bantam, Snugglepot, to save itself from the pot (as if!) and push out the occcasional egg. The other two regular fowl -Olga and Penguin - remain regular! Thanks for your advice, Ros
