Japanese Raisin Tree
Today at the markets, the lady at the stall where I buy my rhubarb offered me a taste of a
Japanese Raisin
.
It was sweet, crisp and chewy. fibrous but not unpleasant . Bit like a Nashi pear flavour- honey? The drupes are not pretty until you bite them!
I perched them on top of the fresh cauliflower ( that is now soup!)
